Supplier Diversity
Supplier diversity is a business program that encourages the use of woman- and minority-owned vendors as suppliers. Many corporations have a supplier diversity program in place, where diverse spending is tracked quarterly or annually. These purchases provide increased procurement and business opportunities for woman-owned and minority-owned businesses of all sizes.
Promo Print Solutions' Women's Business Enterprise certification is one of the most renowned and respected marks of distinction in the nation for woman-owned businesses. More than 700 U.S. companies look to WBE-certified businesses to fulfill their supplier diversity quotas.
Our company was subject to an in-depth, three-month review to determine that we meet the specific qualifications for certification. These criteria, as taken from the Women’s Business Enterprise Web site, are as follows:
1. Fifty-one percent ownership by a woman or women
2. Proof of effective management and control of the business
3. Contribution of capital and/or expertise
4. Independence
5. U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Resident Alien Status
